Comments: My father built a flintlock by hand and got it about 98% done. He needed to mount the front sight, complete the patch box and drill the bore hole for the flash pan in the barrel. When my mother passed away suddenly, he never worked on it again and now he's gone too. I am looking for a gunsmith to finish the gun.

Comments: I visited a couple weeks ago and loved the area. My ancestors are from there, some buried there. Cuthberth Stone married Clarinda Arnett. They are buried at Byrd Owens Cementary, do you know where it is at? His Stone father is buried somewhere in Floyd Co, out somewhere near Meadows. I cannot get over how well maintained and beautiful everyones homes looked and the lawns. I loved it there. I will be back. Keep up the traditions and good luck. We did have a group here, not sure if they still have it or not in Lewis Co., Ky.

Comments: Hi Folks, nice site you got - looks like a real nice bunch of folk in the club too. "That old retired game warden Preston" sent me here - he is a member on my website (based in South Africa) for our local smokepolers. You folk are also more than welcome to pull up a log and join in the talk and sharing of experiences, photos etc. I think you will find a warm welcome and some nice folk too. Had a look at some of the work you do - some really beautiful horns there!! Warm regards Willem
